TL;DR: Compare the actual cost of FundTap invoice finance with an overdraft, business loan, or credit card for the same invoice over the same period. Free, no email required, no spreadsheet needed. Numbers are calculated client-side using FundTap's published fee structure.
The FundTap fee is calculated from our published rate card: from 4% per invoice on short turnarounds, scaling with the number of days until your customer pays. Comparison costs are simple annualised-rate calculations on the same invoice over the same period.
The FundTap fee in this calculator is derived from our published rate card and matches what you would see in the FundTap portal for a typical invoice. Your actual fee will be shown to you exactly before you confirm any funding.
What if my customer pays earlier than expected? You only pay for the days you actually use the funding. If your customer pays earlier than the estimated days, your fee is reduced. There are no early-repayment fees.
Why does invoice finance look more expensive than an overdraft in some cases?Overdrafts can have lower headline rates IF you qualify. Many small businesses can't because banks require property security. FundTap is unsecured against your business (the funding is secured against the invoice instead) and you can get funded the same business day with no application process.
What if my invoice is larger than $500,000?FundTap funds invoices up to $500,000 routinely. For larger amounts, contact our team to discuss.
