How do direct debits work at Fundtap?

When you fund an invoice, Fundtap automatically schedules a direct debit (DD) from your nominated bank account on the repayment due date.

Direct debits are processed via GoCardless. You don't need to do anything on the due date. The payment is collected automatically. GoCardless may email you to let you know that the payment is upcoming, plus you will receive a notification text message from Fundtap 3 days in advance.

If your customer is going to be late in repaying you, you can use your Fundtap portal to extend the DD date out by 7 days. Alternatively get in touch with us directly at info@fundtap.co
