How do I change the bank account for my direct debits?

For security, changing your direct debit bank account requires a few verification steps:

  1. Email info@fundtap.co to request the change, and send a bank statement showing the new account number and account name. The account name must match your business name
  2. The team will call you to verify the request before proceeding
  3. Fundtap will issue a new GoCardless mandate link for you to complete
  4. Once the mandate has been completed, your bank account details will be updated to receive future fundings
  5. If you use accounting software, ensure that your bank account has been correctly added to it also

The new bank account will then be used for all future direct debits once the mandate is active.
