How do I request a repayment date extension?
There are three ways to extend your repayment date, depending on how much extra time you need:
Up to 7 days: self-service in portal
- Go to My Invoices → Funded
- Select the relevant invoice
- Change the Repay Date
Up to 2 weeks: contact us directly
Email info@fundtap.co with:
- FT reference number(s)
- Requested new date
- Brief reason for the extension
More than 2 weeks: proof and approval required
Extensions beyond 2 weeks require proof that your client has committed to payment (e.g. a written confirmation). Provide this by email along with a new requested repayment date. Extensions of more than 2 weeks require explicit approval and are not granted automatically.
At least 1 business day's notice before a repayment date is required. Any extension of time will continue to accrue fees daily.
