When exactly do direct debits run?

Direct debits run between 6:00pm and 10:00pm NZT on the repayment due date.

Public holidays and weekends

Direct debits (DDs) do not run on weekends or public holidays. If your due date falls on one, the DD automatically moves to the next business day evening.

Important: Fees are still calculated to the original due date, not the moved date. No action is needed from you when this happens.

If you need to shift a repayment date, you are able to in the Fundtap portal up to 1 business day before the repayment is scheduled to be taken. Outside of this time window the repayments cannot be rescheduled, as they are sent to our DD provider, GoCardless.
