The story in short
- 97 invoices funded since March 2025
- 13 increases to their funding limit
- 21 invoices funded in March 2026, their busiest month
- 17 of 19 months they’ve used FundTap since their first funded invoice
The gap
Their utility contracts pay fortnightly, so that side of the business is predictable. Private developers pay in stages, with a deposit, a progress payment and a final payment, and each one can slip.
The work runs in stages on site too, and the costs of each stage arrive before the payment for it.
“...It’s a three-stage kind of process, each project. We come back in and reinstate it once they’re finished.”
From a call with the FundTap team, April 2026
How they use FundTap
They signed up in August 2023 and funded their first invoice in March 2025. Since then they’ve funded 97 invoices, 64 of them already this year.
Claims go in as they’re raised, so a late deposit or final payment doesn’t hold up the next stage. Neither the utilities nor the developers are contacted, and both keep paying the business as normal.

Sound like your business?
The job runs in stages and the developer pays in stages, but the two schedules rarely line up. FundTap funds the claim, so the next stage doesn’t wait on the last payment.
