The story in short
- 9 invoices funded since December 2025
- 8 of 10 months they’ve used FundTap since their first funding
- 6 of 6 of the last six months had a funded invoice
The gap
The business pours concrete for homes and commercial clients, from driveways to shed slabs. Late in 2025 it hit a growth period, and each extra job meant more costs up front.
Payments were arriving later than the work was. The owner wanted funds on hand to keep up with the jobs through Christmas while customers paid.
How they use FundTap
Their accountant referred them in November 2025. Before the first invoice, the owner asked whether to fund one big invoice or several small ones, in case a customer paid early. FundTap never contacts the customers, who pay as normal.
One invoice was funded in December 2025. Eight followed in 2026, and each of the last six months has included a funded invoice. The busiest month was August 2026, with two.
Invoices funded each month, as a table
| Month | Invoices funded |
|---|---|
| December 2025 | 1 |
| January 2026 | 0 |
| February 2026 | 1 |
| March 2026 | 0 |
| April 2026 | 1 |
| May 2026 | 1 |
| June 2026 | 1 |
| July 2026 | 1 |
| August 2026 | 2 |
| September 2026 | 1 |
What’s changed
What started as a Christmas buffer is now a monthly habit. Eight of the 10 months since include a funded invoice, and so does each of the last six.
