The story in short
- 16 invoices funded since November 2022
- 13 of them in 2023, their first full year
- 4 invoices funded in April 2023, their busiest month
The gap
The owner had worked in the field for others, saw an opportunity and started their own servicing business. Larger companies became their customers, and they pay at the end of the following month.
Costs go out the door as each job happens. The owner wanted suppliers paid on time, because a new business lives on those relationships.
How they use FundTap
They fund an invoice once it’s issued and pay suppliers from that. Customers pay them as normal, and FundTap never contacts them.
They leaned on it hardest in 2023, when 13 invoices were funded, four of them in April alone. They didn’t use it at all in 2024. The business came back in December 2025, with one invoice funded in 2025 and one in 2026.

What’s changed
The business isn’t brand new any more, and it has been with FundTap for more than three years. The account is there for the months when a run of jobs means costs land before the money does.
In a public review, the owner said it suits a new business needing some backing in its first months.
Sound like your business?
The jobs are done and invoiced, but the customer pays at the end of next month. FundTap moves that money forward, one invoice at a time.
