The story in short
- 5 invoices funded since March 2026
- 3 invoices funded in July 2026, their busiest month
- 2 of 7 months they’ve used FundTap since their first funding
The gap
A house can’t be invoiced while it’s in transit. The invoice goes out only once it’s sitting on its piles at the new site. The developer then pays on the 20th of the following month.
The Christmas period was quiet, with some cancellations, and work was only starting to pick up again. Costs were running ahead of payments.
How they use FundTap
Their broker introduced them to FundTap in March 2026. Once a house is placed and invoiced, they fund the invoice instead of waiting for the developer’s payment run. The developer pays as normal, and FundTap never contacts them.
Five invoices have been funded, across two months, with three of them in July 2026.
Invoices funded each month, as a table
| Month | Invoices funded |
|---|---|
| March 2026 | 2 |
| April 2026 | 0 |
| May 2026 | 0 |
| June 2026 | 0 |
| July 2026 | 3 |
| August 2026 | 0 |
| September 2026 | 0 |
What’s changed
The quiet spell over Christmas has passed. July 2026 was their busiest month on FundTap, with three invoices funded. The account covers the wait between a house being set down and the developer paying for it.
