The story in short
- 19 invoices funded since joining in August 2023
- 17 of 38 months they’ve used FundTap since their first funded invoice
- 7 invoices funded so far in 2026, up from 3 in 2025
- 5 of 6 of the last 6 months with an invoice funded
The gap
House building is wages first and payment later. Invoices are generally settled at the end of the month, so the wage bill runs ahead of the money.
When they signed up, a few clients were running late, which stretched the gap further. The builder needed a buffer to cover wages until those invoices landed.
How they use FundTap
They came to FundTap through their broker in August 2023, and funded two invoices that month.
Altogether they’ve funded 19 invoices in 17 batches, spread across 17 of the 38 months since their first funded invoice. Clients pay the builder as normal, and none of them are contacted.

What’s changed
Use has picked up this year, from three invoices in 2025 to seven so far in 2026. In the last six months they’ve funded five invoices, one in each of five of those months.
The funding limit has gone up once since they joined, and it’s there when a client pays late.
Sound like your business?
Month-end payments and a crew that needs paying before then: it’s a timing problem, not a trading one. That’s the kind of problem a funded invoice solves.
