The story in short
- 591 invoices funded since February 2024
- 31 of 32 months used since their first funded invoice
- 3 increases to their funding limit
- 34 invoices in their busiest month, July 2024
The gap
The owner came to finishing from panel beating, bought a friend’s business, and now has a factory of their own. Architects hire them to finish pieces in specific colours, and the colours vary from job to job.
Early in the year there are lots of small jobs that aren’t really worth doing. The factory still has to be run through those quiet weeks, with materials and labour to pay for.
How they use FundTap
The owner had used invoice finance the year before, and it had worked well. They joined FundTap in February 2024, at the slow start of that year.
That has added up to 591 invoices funded, across 31 of the 32 months since their first. Customers are never contacted and pay as normal.

What’s changed
They funded 239 invoices in 2024, 293 in 2025 and 59 so far in 2026. The funding limit has been raised three times, and July 2024 was the busiest month, with 34 invoices.
In the last six months they funded 37 invoices, across five of those months. For a business that starts every year slow, that’s cover on hand when the order book is thin.
In a public review, the owner said the team guided them through sign-up and it all went smoothly.
