$10k business funding for free promotion
These terms apply to Fundtap’s “$10k business funding for free” promotion.
By participating in this promotion, you agree to these terms and Fundtap’s usual customer terms, funding terms, approval processes and eligibility requirements.
1. Promoter
The promoter is Sescape (2010) Limited, trading as Fundtap, NZBN 9429031726887.
In these terms, Fundtap, we, us and our mean Sescape (2010) Limited.
2. Promotion period
The promotion is available to eligible new Fundtap customers whose first Fundtap funding is paid out on or before 30 June 2026.
Fundtap may extend, vary, suspend or withdraw the promotion at any time, provided this will not affect any eligible customer whose qualifying funding has already been paid out before the change.
3. Who is eligible
This promotion is available to business customers in New Zealand and Australia who:
a. have not previously received funding from Fundtap;
b. complete Fundtap’s application, onboarding, verification and approval requirements;
c. are approved by Fundtap for funding;
d. have their first Fundtap funding paid out on or before 30 June 2026; and
e. otherwise comply with these terms and Fundtap’s usual customer terms.
For clarity, having previously created a Fundtap account or started an application does not automatically exclude a customer from the promotion, provided they have not previously received funding from Fundtap.
4. What the promotion gives you
Eligible customers will receive a one-off credit of up to:
a. NZD $700 for New Zealand customers; or
b. AUD $700 for Australian customers.
The credit is applied against Fundtap’s fees on your first funded invoice or invoices.
The credit is intended to cover the Fundtap fees on the first $10,000 of funding for most eligible customers. However, the actual fee depends on the invoice, applicable rate, amount funded and repayment period.
5. How the credit is applied
The credit will be applied automatically by Fundtap to eligible fees on your first Fundtap funding.
The credit may be applied across more than one invoice, provided those invoices form part of your first funding payout.
If the Fundtap fees on your first funding are less than the credit amount, the unused portion will expire. It will not be refunded, paid out, transferred or carried forward.
If the Fundtap fees on your first funding are more than the credit amount, you are responsible for paying the difference.
6. Important construction client caveat
Construction clients are eligible for this promotion.
However, because construction funding may be subject to a higher base fee and time-based rate, the credit may not cover all fees on $10,000 of funding, particularly where the invoice remains outstanding for a longer period.
In those cases, the promotion will still apply, but only up to the relevant credit cap. You will need to pay any remaining fees above the credit amount.
7. What “fee-free” means
In this promotion, fee-free means Fundtap will apply the promotional credit against eligible Fundtap fees on your first funding, up to the applicable credit cap.
It does not mean:
a. you receive an additional cash payment;
b. unused credit is paid to you;
c. all fees are waived regardless of amount or repayment period;
d. funding is guaranteed; or
e. Fundtap’s usual eligibility, approval, verification or funding requirements do not apply.
8. Funding remains subject to approval
All funding is subject to Fundtap’s usual assessment, approval and verification requirements.
Fundtap may decline an application or funding request at its discretion, including where a customer does not meet Fundtap’s eligibility, credit, verification or operational requirements.
This promotion does not guarantee approval, a credit limit, same-day funding, or any particular funding amount.
9. No cash value or transfer
The promotional credit:
a. has no cash value;
b. cannot be transferred to another customer, business, director, shareholder or related entity;
c. cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit;
d. cannot be applied to funding outside the customer’s first funding payout; and
e. cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or promotion unless Fundtap agrees in writing.
10. Misuse of the promotion
Fundtap may withhold, reverse or cancel the promotional credit if we reasonably believe that:
a. a customer is not eligible;
b. the promotion has been misused;
c. false, incomplete or misleading information has been provided;
d. there has been fraud, attempted fraud or other improper conduct; or
e. applying the promotion would breach these terms or Fundtap’s usual customer terms.
11. Errors and corrections
If the promotional credit is applied incorrectly, Fundtap may correct the error.
If an error means a customer has received a greater benefit than they were entitled to, Fundtap may adjust the customer’s account or require repayment of the incorrectly applied amount.
12. Relationship with Fundtap’s usual terms
These promotion terms apply in addition to Fundtap’s usual customer terms and funding documents.
If there is any inconsistency between these promotion terms and Fundtap’s usual terms, these promotion terms apply only to the promotion. Fundtap’s usual terms continue to apply to all other matters.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable New Zealand or Australian law.
