Matt loves small businesses and the incredibly talented people that put it all on the line to create, run and grow them. A scientist by training, Matt is all about problem solving and experimenting, all in the pursuit of finding the quickest, easiest and best solutions to keep businesses, but more importantly the people behind them, humming.

While he might bore you to death at a party around the intricacies of invoice finance, he can usually bring it home with his passion for the the outdoors, the sea and some good food and drink.

Neil has had a long, successful career in the insurance industry with a track record of growing businesses hugely over time. His personal values resonate through in all of his work, and his honesty and integrity are why our customers respect him and all of his success to date. He can always be trusted to under promise and over deliver.

Neil is a huge rugby supporter and advocate of sport in general, coffee, travel, walking and gardening, taking particular pride in a perfect lawn!

Andrew is a Company Director, Advisory Board Member, CEO & COO with over 15 years board level experience with particular experience in scaling businesses, raising capital, online payments and manufacturing industries. 

At board level he delivers accelerated business growth by driving revenue and leveraging decades of experience in senior management and executive roles throughout Australia, the US and Asia.

Matt is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in executive level positions (both public and private companies). He commenced his career as a Chartered Accountant in the field of restructuring and operational turnaround in an Australian mid-tier accounting firm where he was a Partner for ten years and then Senior Managing Director.

He brings extensive experience in growth strategies, operational efficiency consulting, business M&A (including acquisitions, sales and business unit carveouts) and capital structuring/ improvement. He has overseen major operational and financial restructurings of many listed companies including multi-national and cross border transactions.

If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.

Shane is passionate about developing innovative and tech focussed growth plans with business owners. With experience across business ownership, finance, marketing and sales, he is uniquely placed to understand the challenges and opportunities each of our clients are faced with.

A keen and passionate sportsman, when not trying to throw an aging body around most of his time is spent with his family exploring the outdoors.

Andre helps our customers that sometimes have issues paying on time to resolve the issue for one and all.
With 30 years of Credit Control and Debt Recovery experience in NZ, UK and Ireland, he has a passion for this field.

In his spare time, he gyms his aging and growing body, tramps to huts with good food and Vino Tinto in his pack and is always dreaming of his next overseas adventure.

Rick has a passion for progress. He likes to seize opportunities as they arise and enjoys the challenge of growing as a person along-side the business. FundTap’s unique position in the fintech industry is the perfect catalyst for Rick – allowing him to bring his hunger to learn, innovative spark and strong work ethic.

Outside of work, Rick lives a second life as mad-keen outdoorsman with a deep streak of “a rural Kiwi bloke” embedded in his blood.

Jess wears many hats: part accountant, part technology futurist, and full-time office DJ. She has crunched numbers and coded lines, but her true passion lies in building products that matter. When she's not crafting roadmaps, you’ll find her in the kitchen, whipping up culinary magic. And after a day of ideation and innovation, nothing beats quality time with family, the ultimate product of life.

Animesh challenges us to find a better word than ‘genius’. He can convert an idea into an app by what seems like magic. He assures us it isn’t, but we’re okay with it either way.

Animesh loves to develop applications that help businesses. He is all about learning new things in between his other passions; his family and kids, friends, painting, cricket and travel.

Meet Morgan, the Operations Manager at FundTap. Morgan loves helping customers get the funds they need quickly and efficiently. She’s passionate about making sure everyone succeeds.

When she’s not at work, Morgan enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids. Whether it's hiking, playing at the park, or exploring nature, these moments are special and refreshing. Morgan balances a fulfilling career with quality family time and aims to do great in both every day.

Meet Helena, our awesome Design & Experience Lead! In her early 20s and armed with a degree in design innovation and psychology, she brings a cool mix of skills to our team. Helena thrives in Nelson, where you'll often find her meeting people for coffee catchups, exploring local galleries, and exploring the scenic trails and beaches. Her dedication to helping others and ensuring seamless operations truly shines in her work. 

David is passionate about solving anything data related using his experience in credit risk and statistics. Having worked in both banking and the fintech space, he is excited to hit the ground running at FundTap.

With a strong background in finance and experience working in large organisations, James is passionate about delivering great service and helping clients achieve the best outcomes. Originally from Dunedin, he has recently returned home to Nelson and looks forward to supporting the local community.

Outside of work, He is sports mad. Most weekends you’ll find him watching games on TV or out at local sports grounds enjoying the action.

Meet Molly, our Customer Success Manager at FundTap.

Hailing from a dairy farm in South Canterbury, Molly swapped gumboots for city shoes and took on the bright lights of London, working in digital marketing across the consumer goods, food, and agribusiness sectors. Now back in Aotearoa, she’s traded the Tube for beach walks and is happily calling sunny Nelson home.

Outside of work, you’ll find Molly making the most of the great outdoors, skiing, hiking in the mountains, or swimming in the sea. And when she’s not out adventuring, she’s putting her energy into something just as important; working her way through Nelson’s impressive craft beer selection.

Originally from Scotland, Chris is passionate about building meaningful partnerships that create value for everyone involved. He loves connecting people, uncovering opportunities, and working collaboratively to help partners and their customers achieve success.

FundTap's innovative approach and partner-first mindset are a natural fit for Chris, allowing him to combine his relationship-building skills, commercial focus, and enthusiasm for helping businesses grow.

When he's not working with partners, you'll find him exploring new corners of the world, pushing himself through CrossFit sessions, or saying "yes" to the next random adventure.

Meet Nova, a natural problem solver with a heart for people. With a degree in people management, she is passionate about making processes easier and getting the best outcomes for clients. Back home in Nelson, you will find her on the paddleboard, exploring the ocean, or already planning her next travel adventure and the food and drink spots that come with it.

Bevan is our AI Technical Lead at FundTap, where he leads the engineering team building and evolving the company's core products and platform. He brings over two decades of software engineering experience to FundTap, with a background spanning ecommerce, molecular biology, open source, and full-stack product development. He enjoys working at the intersection of technology, product, and people, and focuses on turning complex problems into simple, reliable solutions that deliver real value to customers.

Over his career, Bevan has worked on scaling technology companies, leading teams, shaping architecture, and delivering systems used in production at scale. He's particularly interested in building strong engineering cultures, enabling growth and creating software that is both robust and pragmatic.

Outside of work, he spends time mountain biking Nelson's trails or heading into the backcountry snowboarding when conditions line up.
