The story in short
- 19 invoices funded since October 2025
- 17 invoices funded so far in 2026
- 9 invoices in their busiest month, June 2026
- 8 of 12 months used since their first funded invoice
The gap
The brand began as on-demand apparel, with nothing to buy until a customer ordered. Then a major retailer wanted stock for hundreds of stores, and the sums changed.
Wholesale meant buying apparel, mugs and more in advance. The retailers’ payment terms run from the invoice date, and in practice can stretch past the number on paper.
“...The cashflow timing, I learned that very quickly with the wholesaler side of it.”
From a call with the FundTap team, October 2025
How they use FundTap
The owner joined in October 2025, after looking for something longer-term that could grow with the business. They funded two invoices in 2025 and 17 so far in 2026.
The retailers pay the brand as normal and aren’t contacted. By August 2026 the owner wanted FundTap plugged into the brand’s own cashflow reporting, instead of tracking funded invoices by hand.

“...FundTap is a core part of how we fund our wholesale invoices...”
From an email to the FundTap team, August 2026
What’s changed
Use has stepped up, with 15 of the 19 invoices funded in the last six months. June 2026 was the busiest month, with nine.
The funding limit has been raised once. Large retail orders still mean stock is bought well before the retailer pays.
Sound like your business?
You buy the stock now, the retailer pays well after it’s on the shelf, and the next order is waiting. Fund the invoice and get the next purchase order placed.
