The story in short
- 7 invoices funded since September 2022
- 4 of them in 2023, their first full year
- 1 increase to their funding limit
The gap
A monthly payment run suits a builder who plans around it. Miss the cut-off, and the next payment is a month further out.
One month the cut-off was misread, and a whole month’s payment slipped to the next run. The bills for that work still came due.
How they use FundTap
They signed up in September 2022 and funded their first invoice the same month. They fund an invoice when the claim cycle puts costs ahead of the programme’s payment. The programme pays as normal, and FundTap never contacts it.
Over more than four years they’ve funded seven invoices. One came in 2022, four in 2023, and one each in 2025 and 2026. March 2023 was the busiest month, with two.

What’s changed
The programme’s monthly cycle hasn’t changed, and the funding limit has been raised once. With an invoice funded, a missed cut-off no longer leaves the costs waiting a month.
Sound like your business?
If the payment run only comes round once a month, one missed cut-off means a long wait. FundTap funds the invoice while you wait for the next run.
