The story in short
- 4 invoices funded since May 2026
- 2 invoices funded in June 2026, their busiest month
- 3 of 5 months they’ve used FundTap since their first funding
The gap
The business invoices once a job is done, on terms of the 20th of the following month. Wages and machine costs go out as the work happens.
A slow patch had left the business short of cash for operating costs until the 20th. Work was picking up, but the month’s invoices hadn’t gone in yet.
How they use FundTap
Their broker introduced them to FundTap in April 2026, and they funded their first invoice in May. They fund invoices from lifting jobs and machine hire. The clients pay as normal, and FundTap never contacts them.
Four invoices have been funded across three months, two of them in June 2026. The last was in July 2026.
Invoices funded each month, as a table
| Month | Invoices funded |
|---|---|
| May 2026 | 1 |
| June 2026 | 2 |
| July 2026 | 1 |
| August 2026 | 0 |
| September 2026 | 0 |
What’s changed
Work was picking up, and the owner could take it on with wages and machine costs covered until the 20th. In June some clients paid early, and the owner cleared the funded invoice early too.
Sound like your business?
A crane earns nothing parked and costs plenty to run, and clients pay the month after the lift. FundTap funds the invoice so wages and machine costs aren’t waiting on them.
